HIPAA training is usually a slideshow people click through. This course is built around the situations that actually happen: a patient asks for records, a payer asks for notes, a colleague emails a spreadsheet of claims, a laptop goes missing. You learn the Privacy, Security and Breach Notification Rules in plain language and practice applying them to your own role, including the rules for business associates such as billing companies.
